To provide leadership and community service opportunities to our students, while ensuring the safety of all at Country Isles Elementary.
Description:
As student leaders, Safety Patrol members have the responsibility to show positive leadership and act as role models for the student body in all capacities. They will be working with students to ensure safety around the school grounds.
Grade Level:
Fifth-grade students are eligible to apply to become safety patrols.
The Safety Patrol team are a select group of Fourth and Fifth Graders that are committed to providing a safe school environment for all students at Country Isles Elementary. Here at Country Isles, safety is our primary concern for all students, thus it is important and expected that Patrols take their job very seriously as the position comes with great responsibility. Being selected to serve as a Patrol is a great honor and privilege. A Safety Patrol member should be responsible, respectful, cooperative, and helpful.
Duties include:
· Hallway monitoring.
· Helping students get to class or designated areas without running.
· Assisting students/staff that need help carrying items into the building.
· Working cooperatively with adults in assigned areas.
